Diocesan Bell Fund Raising - 2001

Five grants were paid during 2001 totalling £9,900:

  • Brightwell Baldwin - £2,900
  • Brightwalton - £750
  • Chilton - £4,750
  • Farnham Royal - £1,300
  • Weston Turville - £200

Grants were provisionally allocated as indicated below :

  • Englefield - £5,475
  • Rousham - £2,600

Fund raising

New money raised in 2001 amounted to £8,212, including a legacy of £500 from the late George Edmans, £1,451 from the Guild Draw, £4,084 from branch donations and £748 from the Ringing Day. Gift Aid donations, which have replaced the previous covenant scheme, amounted to £257.

Investments

Investment income during the year and available for distribution as grants was £15,193. The total capital subscribed to the Fund at the end of the year was £204,617. This is invested in accordance with professional advice from the Diocese.
