Notes:

  1. [M] is the Whitechapel Founder’s mark
  2. F.Sharpe, The Bells of Berks, page 188 states: The Bells were augmented to 10 in 1933. The new bells were dedicated on Palm Sunday and on Easter Monday an open ringing meeting was held. The then master of the ODG, Canon C.W.O. Jenkyn, rang the 2nd bell to a touch of Grandsire Caters and remarked "What a lovely peal, I must go outside and listen to them.". He had only walked about 100 yards before he collapsed with a heart attack and died within a few minutes. A photograph of his grave is stored with the bell information for East Garston
