The following information comes from a Whites of Appleton Ltd certificate in the tower.

The inscriptions are copied from F.Sharpe The Church Bells of Berkshire. He visited the tower in 1939.

Frame: Oak, F White, extended by White's 1995. Gear: 1995 Whites.

Notes:

  1. The following information is taken from the Whites of Appleton certificate at Kintbury:
    “In 1995 the six bells were re-tuned and two bells were added to augment the ring to eight. A new section of framework was installed and the bells rehung with completely new ringing fittings. The new Treble was given by the tower captain, Adam Rae-Smith and records the names of the Kintbury Ringers. The new 2nd bell was added in memory of Sir Gordon Richards, famous Jockey & Trainer; Donations were received for this bell from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Charles Prince of Wales, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Princess Michael of Kent.”
Church facilities: toilet The Ringing World Feb 11, 2005 reported that these toilets have just received the top 5-star rating in the 'Loo of the Year Awards 2005'
