The following information comes from F.Sharpe The Church Bells of Berkshire. He visited the tower in 1970.

Frame: rolled steel joists; M & S, 1921.
Gear: Cast iron headstocks, Fixed steel gudgeons, Self-aligning ball-bearings, Traditional English-type wheels, Traditional stays, 1921.
Old 6 by William Yare, 1612; old 8 (8.2.23) by Ellis Knight I, 1625.
