The following information comes from F.Sharpe The Church Bells of Berkshire. He visited the tower in 1939.

Frame: welded steel, Gillett & Johnston 1937. Gear: Elm headstocks, plate gudgeons, self-aligning ball-bearings, traditional wheels and fittings, Gillett & Johnston 1937.
