Access to ringing chamber: A vestry was made in the 1960s by raising the ringing chamber. Entry is from within the church, at the base of the tower, with an ordinary sort of house staircase leading to the 1st floor ringing chamber, open to the aisle, with small railing and useful bench to sit on while waiting turn to ring. Low ceiling and an intermediate room between the ceiling of the ringing chamber and floor of the belfry.

Children’s Play Area: nice little group of 5 chairs with book for small children just before the vestry door
There is a key kept in the church with all the other keys which accesses the Village Hall where there is a toilet.

South Stoke is off the Goring to Crowmarsh road on the east side of the Thames. Take the first signposted road to the right when travelling from Crowmarsh or the second on the left from Goring. Go under the railway and follow the road round to the left to reach the church. There is usually some parking outside the church.
