From Reading (Caversham) take the A4074 but soon turn left opposite the pub,
just over the top of the hill. Take the next turn left in the woods down to
Mapledurham (this is the less narrow and shorter of the two roads down).
Car park just before the church on the left but be careful not to leave
valuables there as cars have been broken into.
Church is down near the Thames with just a few houses nearby,
across the river from Tilehurst, about 3 miles NW of Reading.
