Local points of interest for non ringers: Bradfield College adjacent
to the church, was built in
Victorian times on the site of the former manor house known as Bradfield
Place. The Dining Hall has some stained glass widows designed by Burne Jones
at the age of 24. In 1890 the headmaster, H.B.Gray, supervised the
construction in a nearby chalk pit of a Greek theatre modelled on that of
Epidaurus in the Morea.
