The Bells (8) 12-2-11 - restored 1983. One clock hammer to take off.

The following information comes from Chris Pickford who sent information from the tower notice via Andrew Bull .

The Bells were rehung by Whitechapel in a new frame constructed locally in 1985.

The older inscriptions and diameters are copied from A.H.Cocks The Church Bells of Buckinghamshire, 1897 page 317.

Notes:

  1. The inscription on bell 3 is made with the same figures as the other bells of Richard Keene and was probably intended to be 1683
  2. When Henry Knight I died in January 1622-3 "Bledlowe in the County of Buck" owed him £ 4. 2s, probably for recasting a bell
